Integrator users

INFO

When operating as an integrator, the same user-management page is used to manage users both in the integrator tenant as well as in the organizations under the integrator. Hence, the organization and integrator dropdowns are only visible when logged in as an integrator.

Assign permissions

After a user with role technician has been created, the following permissions must be assigned for the user to be granted access to resources within the organization:

  • Site permissions (authorization to a site and all alarm groups, devices, barriers, peripherals and sensors under it).
  • Device permissions (authorization to individual devices and all barriers, peripherals and sensors under it).

Users with the admin or superadmin role are authorized without further scope assignment.

Best practices

  • Study how permissions and authorization work in the technical reference.
  • Assign least privilege permissions first; expand only as necessary.
  • Regularly audit user permissions to ensure compliance.
