Views

Views allow users to create and save customized layouts of video streams, devices or sites. They provide quick access to commonly used device grids or monitoring configurations.

Creating a new view

1. Open the Matrix
   1. Navigate to the Matrix (video display area).
   2. On the upper corner of the right-hand menu, click CREATE VIEW.
   3. In the pop-up window, enter a name for the view and choose the desired settings.
2. Adding devices to the Matrix
   1. In the right-hand menu, locate Sites and expand the section.
   2. A list of sites will display based on your access and permissions.
   3. Expand the desired site to view its available devices.
   4. Select a device to add it as a tile on the canvas.
   5. Repeat until your preferred set of devices are displayed.
3. Configure layout
   1. Arrange the video tiles into your preferred layout.
   2. Resize tiles by dragging their sides or corners.
4. Save view
   1. Click Save view (located in the upper right corner of the Matrix).

Managing views

Edit a view

1. Open the view in the Matrix.
2. Make your changes.
3. Click Save view to overwrite the existing view.

Delete a view

1. In the views section of the Matrix page (right-hand menu), find the view.
2. Open the three-dot menu next to its name and click the trash can icon.

Favorite a view

1. In the views section of the Matrix page (right-hand menu), find the view.
2. Open the three-dot menu next to its name and click the star (★) icon to mark it as a favorite.
