Identity groups

Identity groups allow administrators to configure access for multiple identities at once. Instead of assigning access rules individually, an administrator assigns rules to a group and thus apply them to all grouped identities simultaneously.

An identity can belong to multiple identity groups.

Creating an identity group

  1. From the navigation bar, select Configuration.
  2. In the page menu, select Identity groups.
  3. Click Add identity group in the upper-right corner.
  4. Enter a name for the barrier group.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Assigning identities to a group

  1. After creating the identity group, click Assign identities (upper-right corner).
  2. In the pop-out window, select the identities to include.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the window.
