Access schedules
Access schedules define the when in granting access. They determine the specific timeframes during which identities are granted access or when locks are kept unlocked.

- Schedules can be created as weekly recurring or one-time.
- Exceptions can exclude time from a schedule but cannot be used to add extra time. For additional time, create a one-time schedule.
- Access schedules are only available for utilization for access control. For recording schedules, see site schedules.
Create an access schedule
- From the navigation bar, select
Configuration
. - In the page menu, select
Access schedules
. - Click
Add schedule
in the upper-right corner. This will bring up the schedule creation modal. - Enter a name for the schedule.
- Select the frequency:
- Weekly: a recurring schedule that repeats weekly.
- One-time: a schedule applied only to specific dates.
- Select the time windows that define when the schedule applies.
- Optional: add exceptions to exclude specific time frames.
- Exceptions only remove time from an existing schedule.
- To add additional time; create a one-time schedule.
